[Buddha-l] Shiguseiganmon - Bodhisattva Vows

Hello all,

might be, someone here could be so kind, to answer some questions about
the Boddhisattva-Vows in the form of 'Shiguseiganmon' (jap.).
The following is a translation of Jeff Shore of Hanazono University in
Kyoto:
	Numberless beings - set free
	Endless delusion - let go
	Countless Dharma - see through
	Peerless Way - manifest!

1. is this form a Japanese development, or do we find it already earlier
in China?
2. was this form only used in Chan-/Zen-schools or also in other
Mahayana schools?
3. were there ancestors of this form in Sanskrit?
