Now that Mr. Peppe has exposed these treasures on a National Geographic
film, he probably needs bank-type security to save them!
Meanwhile National Geographic, as usual, goes all out with loud muzak and
clichés like, "once and for all". Arg. This film cannot be considered a
"documentary film"--it is an entertainment film that presents some
information about a subject--the stupa relics in question.
What bothers me is that Neil Peppe's grandfather drove a trench right
through the stupa! In those days archaeological tech was undeveloped.
Historically, it was stupa-robbers who dug for Buddha remains.
