Sorry, Joanna!
But if the line in the Nirvana Sutra does not refer to suicide, then
violence against others is indicated? Doesn't seem right to me, since
is suicide for these various cultural reasons is not allowed in
Buddhism, it would seem that homicide for those reasons would be
impermissible as well.
And yes, we have been over this before, and probably will be again.
