That, in fact, was one of the theories advanced. I pointed out that the hat, 
face and beard bore a remarkable resemblance to Lama Anagarika Govinda. He 
may not have posed for it, but he may have been the exemplar prototype for 
the depiction. All the iconography, btw, is off.
