[Buddha-l] a question to diamond sutra

Hallo,

this question concerns the Kumarajiva-translation of the Diamond-Sutra.

1. are there different Sanskrit-versions of the Diamond-Sutra?

2. in the Diamons-Sutra #3 there is this list:
Na sa Subhute bodhisattvo vaktavyo yasya-atma-samjna
pravarteta, sattva-samjna va jiva-samjna va pudgala-samjna va pravarteta.

And Kumarajiva translates
我相 for atman-samjna, 人相 for pudgala-samjna, 眾生相 for sattva-samjna
and 壽者相 for jiva-samjna.

Now for 壽者相 we have in Charles Muller's dictionary
壽者相: the marks (signs) of having a life span
One of the four marks 四相 described in the Diamond Sūtra 金剛經, Sūtra
of Perfect Enlightenment 圓覺經, etc. 〔入楞伽經 T 671.16.532a21〕 [cmuller]
and so Muller and Thich Nhat Hanh translate 壽者相 as 'lifespan'.
