apratiṣṭhita unlimited BhP. Jain.
apratiṣṭhāna having no solid ground
So it's not just a Buddhist term, but employed by Jains as well. Basic
sense: non-attached, not getting stuck; absence of reification.
Important basic term in Mahayana texts, but also abhidharma. A crucial term
in Asanga's Yogacara as well. Occurs as well in Vimalakirti, I believe.
Involves an important stage in Buddhist practice.
