Too totally true. I hear on night radio sometimes of some characters who
refuse to pay income tax on the grounds that it's 'unconstitutional', and so
far it seems to be a draw between them and the feds--haven't heard any
recent info--but one such couple had been barricaded in their house for
months--then there were the resisters refusing to pay the war portion of
their IRS bill during the Vietnam war...I never found out what happened to
them. Does anybody know?
Seems to me this topic fits under right livelihood~~~

Unfortunately, those of us who make only minor money, such a you suggest,
still pay taxes. In fact we pay a higher rate of taxes than if we were
certain corporations. And we would go to jail for withholding even the that
dribble. Unless you are completely homeless and pennyless it is very
difficult to avoid supporting war, torture, and the other horrors our
government provides.
