[Buddha-l] A Different Take on Devadatta

I found an old 1923 article on the Web with a totally different take on Devadatta.  The author claims that Devadatta's insults and stone-throwing were not necessarily out of hate or spite, but "an echo of the friendly and ceremonial antagonism of cross cousins."
