Hello

Yes I would like to confirm that the gang at the Journal of Global Buddhism
is a pleasure to work with. I met all the editors once when there was a
religious studies conference in Toronto. It included Charles Prebish,
Martin Baumann, Franz Metcalf and David McMahan. I have not met the new
editor Dr. Cristina Rocha, but I must say it would appear she has been the
main force behind the new special issue on Buddhism in Oceania, which in my
opinion, has provided the freshest material I have seen in the JGB in quite
some time.

I would highly recommend the technical editor position to a person already
engaged in the buddhist academic arena, even to established scholars in this
domain. I would also encourage just ordinary buddhist practitioners like
myself. I know the opportunity working for the JGB for six years really
helped me developed some computer skills. I am also sticking around to
facilitate the transition.

All the best

Michael
