[Buddha-l] Attack on Stone Buddha in Pakistan

Hi all,

This has been reported on other lists, but I haven't seen it mentioned
here.  I apologize for the redundancy if someone else already reported it.
Another large stone Buddha has been defaced by fanatics in the same
part of the world where the Bamiyan statues were destroyed.

It's disturbing to imagine what such fanatics might like to do to the
archaeological relics in Egypt!
