I could quote you chapter and verse from the writings of Stephen 
Batchelor on both of these issues (disparaging Asian Buddhists and 
clamoring for things less challenging), but we just did that not long 
ago. His writings are readily available to anyone who is interested and 
apparently they are subject to a wide variety of interpretations, 
including interpretations according to which there is nothing 
disparaging about Asian Buddhists nor any clamoring for something less 
challenging and difficult. Jesus said "seek and ye shall find." But he 
left out the corollary "don't seek and ye shan't find."
