since joanna mentioned it, i might as well reveal the open secret that
websites which seem to be in bardo might often be retrievable still (proving
some point about alaya or something doctrinal, i 'spoze)

we can thank brewster kahle (inventor of w.a.i.s., wide area information
server) whose wayback machine  <http://archive.org>enables this.   (i can
explain how it works, but some might prefer to consider it magic ... and who
am i to spoil the fun ... )

(visitors to my home page can still access that preliminary list of japanese
aesthetic categories, in my haiku garden, but having taught them since a
couple times, following more rigorous research at the asian art museum
library, i blush to remember that preliminary draft; email me if you still
need the specific url)
