Several others have already commented on this, so I'll be uncharacteristically
brief. Bill Waldron is a truly gifted teacher, partly because he is such a
generous and gracious human being, and partly because he is a careful scholar
and a clear thinker. If you get a chance to hear him lecture someday, don't
miss it. And, given your interests and background, Katherine, I'm confident
you would like reading his articles and this book. You may be able to
download PDF versions of his articles or get them through inter-library loan,
but don't miss reading the book that you asked about.
