Richard

I think with your knowledge and writing skill about Buddhism, you should
take up this offer. You could always have some of the income relegated to
buddhist charities. If you need technical assistance, I'd be glad to offer
my support. I remember writing on this list about Second Life and how
frustrated I was by the decadence and commercialism I saw in it. Well,
recently I read in the local paper that my university library and the local
college both had virtual spaces in Second Life. I decided to take a another
look at it, and discovered there are now some very well crafted tibetan
buddhist virtual spaces there, albeit hidden amongst the casino halls and
porno palaces. I mean, Second Life "Linden dollars", come on, what the hell
is that all about! And who hasn't tried risky investments from time to time
to try and shore up extra money to help some impoverished refugee camp in
India or wherever!
