Rūpāvatī's story is to be found in the 32nd chapter of the Divyāvadāna (Rūpāvatyavadāna), as well as in Haribhaṭṭa's Jātakamālā (Rupyāvatījātaka) and lastly in the Avadāna Kalpalatā as the Rukmavatyavadāna.
