Hi Michel,

It sounds like the two mirrors are being used as a presentation of the
'Thunderbolt Realm' (Diamond World) and 'Matrix Realm' (Womb World), which
are reflections of each other.  As you probably know, these are usually
shown as complex mandala, however simplier versions such as the Kuban
mandala, which show the nine assemblies as various plain coloured squares,
are used in some sects as well.  If this is the role of the two mirrors,
chances are they are symbolising the centre assemblies only.

This is just a suggestion so unfortunately I can't give any references
regarding this.
