There are few women in Buddhist studies in general, sadly, so it 
would be remarkable if there were anything approaching gender balance 
on this listserv.

But I take comfort in the fact that the listserv I co-moderate, a UU 
listserv, is predominantly female (only about 25 percent of UUs are 
male).
