I make regular donations to Buddhist charities with which I am involved
and last year I donated substantially to a monastery. But I have began
to question this rather lopsided approach. I donated to major disasters
last year, but this was much less than the monastery. What concerns me
the most is two things: the provision of clean water and the welfare of
children. I also favour donating to help others provide voluntary help.
