Hal> Freedom is a hot topic in the USA these days. The Neo-cons seek to
reduce freedom to a simple, straight forward concept that any hill-billy in
a pickup truck can understand and agree with; however, many intellectuals
see that freedom is a complex issue.
BF Skinner made a proposition that people act in response to various kinds
of conditioning. People just exist within the illusion of freedom; however,
Noam Chomsky refutes Skinners' supposition because the experiment is too
controlled and doesn't reflect the complex interactions of the human
condition.
