I apologize for using 'deus ex machina' instead of 'ghost in the machine' 
yesterday. Pinker uses the 'ghost in the machine' to paint an effective 
'mind-picture' of mental-physical dualism. It is not that the two terms are 
interchangeable, they are not; yet, I experience both when grappling with either. 

It is best that I focus, use appropriate semantic sets, etc.  In this case, I 
could have taken the time to lookup the terms before posting instead of 
after. There is a precept advising such.
