An interesting reading on Nalanda, local politics and archaeological finds
in Giovanni Verardi's "Hardships and Downfall of Buddhism in India" (2011).

But - isn't Verardi to be classified as one of those "revisionist"
historians?

One never knows.

Regards,

Artur
