If it was a theory invented in recent days -- as is the revisionist 
version -- then there might be something to that, impugning the motive. But 
the fact is that the history of the destruction of Nalanda has been well 
known for nearly a thousand years, it is not a new invention, and certainly 
was not a theory invented to accomodate any modern sensibilities, such as 
the war on terrorism.

The Revisionists have been trying to explain away the standard traditional 
history, since they would like to promote a different vision. The burder of 
proof still lies with them, and, when examined, they don't meet it.
