Hi Mitchell,
I've not heard of this before. What's the reference you have?
Do I recall rightly that scholars like Adamek, Foulk and others have noted
that works such as the Sixth Patriarch Sutra was really fabricated by
Shenhui. Did he have anything to do with this interesting new detail?
