[Buddha-l] dates for the historical Buddha

Hello everyone, 
I have today a question for you scholars who are up to date with the latest research.
It seems that nowadays some people claim that the historical Buddha was living not between 563-483 BC (which are the dates I knew as a consensus 20 years ago) but way later somewhere around 460-380 BC...
What is your point of view on this later dating ?
Is there any evidence to back it up ?
Who is giving these dates and for what reasons ?
Do you agree with these dates and if yes / no, why ?
