[Buddha-l] Christendom vs Buddhism in Cambodia

Hope the Mormons don't get there--they expect tithing. If they did, new
fantastical beliefs would supplant the old. Lately I've come across
assertions that Mormon is the fastest growing religion in the world? How is
this possible?

The money Jarai were paying out for cures went to local shamans; Buddhism
had nothing to do with it.  Anyway, it seems Buddhism had very little
presence in their area.
This is one incident illustrating that Protestants actually accomplish some
good--no drink no smoke-- for a change.
