The growth of Christianity over the last 600 years has been a direct 
result of forced conversions by way of conquest, enslavement and 
colonialism. This is not a matter of controversy, but rather simple, 
well documented, historical fact. And this fact is openly acknowledged 
by many modern Christians. In fact, it was openly acknowledged by many 
Christians all during the time that the enslavement, conquest and 
colonialism was going on, because the spreading of the gospel was 
explicltly used as a justification for doing these things.
