I knew there was some reason I could not be a "real" Buddhist: lack of funds.  
And I fear to ask what it would cost to become not just a lay Buddhist but 
maybe a Bodhisattva.  Or maybe a Tuklu!  But then I would have to be a movie 
star, or something.  

This is completely off track, however.  I still hold out hope for a rather non-
confrontational agreement on real buddhism.  I don't expect purges or the 
persecution of heresies, but modicum of doctrinal consistency would be nice.
