I just checked the buddha-l archives. The diacriticals appear there ungarbled. I checked using two different computers.

I sent the messages that got garbled out on an iPod Touch. As I said above, the messages appeared in the archives intact, so the garbling took place somewhere between SWCP and your brain.

Everything else I say gets distorted by the time it goes through your computer and your mind. Why not diacriticals?
