In my opinion, Jack Kornfield's best (and I think his first) book is _A Path with Heart_.

This is the best thing I've read on Zen & psychoanalysis, thanks
for posting it.
Reminds me of a Kornfield book, _After the Ecstasy, the Laundry._
I've not ventured into this book because it's kind of a
compendium and for that reason put me off of it, but I'd love to
know if anyone here has read it? Any observations?
