What collections and pleas? I never see them.

And anyway HHDL runs an enormous organisation. Why might he not
devote some funds to scientific research, so-claimed anyway. As I
understood it, he for some time has been working to investigate
the various thought-process claims of Buddhists/Buddhism, and
various myths. 
He's already dumped the Mt. Meru earth as a flat disc mythology.

Possibly, even hypnosis might be able to make people
compassionate, or more compassionate.

I´m not sure, is brainwashing permitted if it would make people
compassionate?
And how does this relate to all these collections and pleas for
money for these poor Tibetans that need education and medical
treatment?
