[Buddha-l] Hanuman guarding the Commonwealth Games

This has no direct Buddhist content -- aside from an implicit relation 
between Hanuman in India and "Monkey" in China (the latter accompanies 
Xuanzang on pilgrimage in the popular novel Journey to the West) -- but it 
is the sort of weekend reading that is sufficiently bizarre -- and at once 
amusing and disturbing -- to perhaps merit some attention.
