Thomas Jefferson is quoted as saying :  He who lights his candle at mine
receives light without darkening mine

I've also seen the Buddha quoted as saying : Thousands of candles can be
lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be
shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared*.*
