Some of us went to Canada and tried to stop some of the American madness from there. We discovered that the only thing more frustrating, fruitless and futile (or, as Sarah Palin would probably want to say say, "fruitile") than trying to change the momentum of American policy from within the country is trying to change it from outside the country.
