I generally lurk on this list, but I thought I should share an
experience from a Buddhist yahoo group. A person claiming to be
Muslim joined the group, and apparently harvested members
e-mails, and sent Muslim oriented spam. He even when so far as to
track down my Facebook page. Mike

Yikes--I change my call to include email addresses. No email
addys. 
If one needs an email, one can always ask the moderator.
