[Buddha-l] Buddhist monastery in China-India border dispute

This is a bit more than  a dispute about "a patch of borderland"
China claims *all* of Arunachel Pradesh ~  which is about twice the size 
of Bhutan or Switzerland.

Tawang is also right next to Eastern Bhutan and the people on each side 
of the Indo-Bhutan border there belong to the same ethnic groups and 
speak the same languages.
