Hello Dan and all,
Thank you very much for the two links. The first
http://140.111.1.40/yitia/fra/fra01305.htm (right frame)
is another variant of the form I am looking for. The second led me to
http://www.gg-art.com/imgbook/ViewImg_b.php?bookdetailid=3711
which is closer in that the upper parts curve outwards away from the center axis of the character.
What I was interested in is not an image but a font file (as in the extension TTF, or something else that would work in the Mac environment). But it is an interesting
variation. I take it that all of these are small-seal script characters. Perhaps I can
find a way to make use of it, though, so that you very much for the links!
Mitchell
