Ajahn Cha also has referred to creating the pure land here and
now through right view, etc.
The source I think I saw this in was _Everything Arises,
Everything Falls Away : Teachings on Impermanance and the End of
Suffering_. Shambhala, 2005.

Dear Piya,

"Sukhavati is here and now"  reminds me somehow of Aj.
Buddhadasa.  I must admit I know next to nothing about Pure Land
Buddhism.  Can you recommend some Pure Land reading to a
westerner whose outlook was greatly influenced by Aj. Buddhadasa?
