This Navayana publisher is publishing some excellent stuff. It's been years since I saw anything by this author (an anthropologist by the way, specialising on dalits and dalit cultures), because I don't sub to a lot of journals nor am I near a good univ.library where I might find them. http://navayana.org/?p=581
