John Makransky was in Singapore last week at the international
Buddhism conference ("Buddhism Across Asia") by the Institute of
SE Asian Studies.

So were Victor H Mair, Jan Nattier, Peter Skilling and a galaxy
of others scholars.

I was a guest of the ISEAS which now has a special Buddhist
Library from S$1 M donation by a local Buddhist centre.
