If you don't see all this when viewing the page, then you must
have a most peculiar computer.
If you do see the complete page,  then I fail to understand why
you cannot make the connection between the ad to the right and
all of Toulmin's examples.

not so peculiar... nowadays almost all news PCs using IE8 and
Vista can have settings that block all ads and pop ups.
And if you do not want to get into the IE or Vista settings your
Internet Security Suite (Norton or MacAfee) has ALL the tools to
block unwanted ads !

So today the norm in new PCs equipped with IE8 and Windows Vista
or XP is that YOU CAN block ads !
