Why am I posting this here? 
Well, it has seemed to this observer that various media
--including science media-- have tended to try to avoid obvious
parallels between ape and human primates..even as they (media)
wallow in sentimentality about some of them, recently the bonobo
chimps, even as they elsewhere point out there's very little
difference between ape primate and human primate DNA. The latter
being the case, the search for ever-lovin' primates (some
journalism even suggested that bonobos' use of sex to promote
'peace' --tell it to Mata Hari-- might provide a model for human
improvements) seems finally to have come to an end with this
research report. 
We are still all in the same ugly sense-objects boat, and the
bonobos never got a Buddha.
