Autumn does work magic on ye olde brain.
Here's another one that came up as I was watching the honey bees
working hard in the last days of warmth on the bushy pink
chrysanthemum blossoms outside my porch. I keep looking to see if
they are stocking up on pollen, but their pollen sacks are
empty--so they must be eating something from the flower centers:
 
        Pilgrim bees
        bopping over 
        lush chrysanthemums
        seeking alms--
        Pink petals, golden hearts
