The dharma, it seems to me is pretty much beyond the reach of any kind
of ruination. It could be that overeating damages the sasana to some
degree, but I suspect the damage even to that is minimal. Mostly,
however, I think it ruins the overeater. It might be worth bearing in
mind also that undereating damn near ruined the bodhisatta before he
became the Buddha Gotama.
