[Buddha-l] Being in Love

The Pali Canon has no mention that the Buddha (Siddhattha) ever deserted
"his
wife" or "son". The Ariyapariyesana Sutta (M 26) for example simply says
that
he left home (like many other young seekers) before his weeping parents.

I suppose not many of us could see through the veneer of comfort, pleasure
and
success, with what really lies underneath it all. Of course, we could live
in constant
denial that everything will be all right, or better everything is beautiful
and God will
take care of everything.
