   In  addition  to Dan's recommendation's, I like _Two
Zen  Classics:  The  Gateless  Gate  and The Blue Cliff
Records,_   by   Katsuki   Sekida,  which  is  a  quite
down-to-earth book. And _Unlocking the Zen Koan._ which
is  a Thomas Cleary's translation of the Wymenguan with
some classic and own commentaries.
