role of neurons is also an activity done by neurons. But neurons per se do
not appear in the cognitions that perform such evaluations (Dignaga's
Alambana-pariksa revolves around this point). Neurons hang out with the
little grey-haired mustachioed man behind the curtain. Thus, proving the
role or lack thereof of neurons entails a vicious circle.
Actually the mustachioed man tells me that outside the major leagues, most
bats these days grow on aluminum trees. So I guess that is an argument from
authority. Whether the authority needs neurons to make those determinations
or communicate them -- perhaps we can ask another authority....
Or one can take this all on religious faith and rename neurons divine
messengers or devas. I've heard neurons like to do that.
