Heard of that from an Indonesian Buddhist friend too. Interesting how
ironical it is that Pancasila refers to the Five Precepts in Pali, which
includes saying the truth!

I was told that in Indonesia - esp. during the time of Suharto - where
the 
Pancasila is the national ideal, Buddhists there gained legal status 
because they defined Dhammakaya as God - because the first of the Five 
Principles is "Belief in the one and only God".
