Representations of Buddhism in the MediaAre we talking popular as in USA? or in general? She should try Amazon and Google searches, also World Cat, for a start.
She could download for free _Buddha's Painter_, a short docu about the contemporary revival of Buddhist painting in Mongolia.
The Amar Chitra Katha series (comix style) has one at least on the story of the Buddha.
A visit to many a Karma Kagyu center --perhaps to other Tibetan Buddhism centers-- in Oregon, might find relevant contemporary murals.

Subject: [Buddha-l] Representations of Buddhism in the Media
Can anybody help with suggestions of articles or books on representations of Buddhism in the media and popular culture for a student of mine who wants to write a term paper for an undergrad class on Buddhism.
Thanks,
