You seem to have missed the joke. The unstated joke here was that non- 
thinking drives one to Republicanism.

You apparently don't have enough experience reading the secret  
messages Hayes sends to his psycho-terrorist minions in his messages  
to Buddha-l!

If you just reverse what he says you will often find that he seems to  
be saying just the opposite of what he seems to be saying. It's a koan.
