...and by those religions that promote hatred and are based on delusion. Those
that do not promote some form of hatred and are not based on serious
delusions are few. It seems to me that the "anti-religion" gambit usually
consists in defining religion as institutionally justified hatred and
delusion, then saying of anything that is not hateful and deluded that it is
not really religion. This seems to be the thinking of many who claim that
Buddhism is not a religion.
